FinClip Cloud officially launched

The new version of FinClip Cloud was officially launched in June 2024, which mainly improves the user experience and core product features, and can significantly enhance the product user experience. Come and give it a try!

FinClip Cloud officially launched

Since the launch of the FinClip mini-program management platform in 2017, it has been six years of growth. Along the way, we have been pleasantly surprised to see FinClip flourish under the support of customers from various industries, gradually fulfilling the expectations of different industry clients for "digital scenario expansion and growth."

In the early versions of FinClip, we lacked a clear understanding of the product's boundaries and almost indiscriminately met the various needs of our customers. This not only made the product's features overly complex but also made it difficult for users to grasp when they first encountered the product.

FinClip Officially Begins Restructuring

We completed the internal initiation of FinClip product restructuring in December 2022 and decided to invest heavily in design and R&D costs in 2023, continuously completing product restructuring and feature design throughout the year. In this version, we have redesigned and optimized the originally chaotic and disordered functions, removing some unnecessary parts.

The new FinClip Cloud is lighter and has clearer interaction logic. These design improvements aim to guide users to think instinctively, helping them achieve their goals more efficiently in actual operations.

Key Values of FinClip Cloud

We have redefined the management requirements of the mini-program's full lifecycle and chain, abstracting the resource correlation in the lifecycle from design to release and review, helping users quickly understand the basic knowledge of the product.

We have redefined the identity features of mini-program developers and operators, completely solving account management issues in multi-tenant scenarios across teams and accounts, providing a flexible and efficient account association system.

We have redesigned the management backend interface to better reflect the characteristics of the "mini-program full lifecycle and chain," optimizing product interaction design.

A New Beginning for FinClip Cloud

Starting in June 2024, we have opened a new chapter, making FinClip more beautiful, easier to use, and more powerful, truly becoming a management system around the full lifecycle of mini-programs.

A More Aesthetic Interface

Many professionals use a variety of busines software in their daily work. However, most busines software tends to lack a "well-designed" style in their interfaces, which may be due to a lack of attention to functionality and interaction from a product perspective, or the direct use of front-end framework components without design, or a blind belief that "busines software only needs to focus on efficiency."

As the popularity of busines software continues to grow and the user base becomes younger, we believe that "being aesthetically pleasing" is no longer just an additional feature of a product but has become a mandatory standard. Behind the efficiency-oriented busines products are still real people.

In FinClip Cloud, to provide users with the most comfortable visual experience, we have polished a set of pleasing and comfortable color schemes and soft, durable control styles from the very beginning of product function design. On this basis, we have implemented a complete and comprehensive design system unique to FinClip, making the entire product unified and harmonious.

Comparison between the new and old versions of the navigation bar

The new version of FinClip's product color card and the newly designed FinClip icon system make all icons reflect the characteristics of the "mini-program full lifecycle and chain," making them more easily recognizable.

The new version of FinClip's product color palette

We have not only adjusted the color of the lines but also adopted a more consistent rounded design from the visual to the interaction. These seemingly minor changes that affect the overall look of the interface make FinClip more delicate and soft, bringing the product closer to customers.

Easier to Use

We are well aware that "no matter how good-looking a B-end product is, it is useless if it is not practical." Designers behind any B-end product are unwilling to see their work fall into the predicament of being merely decorative. In the new version, we also hope to optimize the interaction so that every team behind each mini-program and application can have a more focused and smooth operational experience.

After logging into the FinClip backend, the new homepage and navigation bar can help developers quickly reach their desired destinations. The time spent on completing mini-program publishing or application management operations through FinClip Cloud is more than doubled compared to the old version.

To reduce the visual burden on users, we have placed the original notification messages, work orders, and personal center in the sidebar, making the header structure more lightweight and simple, helping users to focus more when dealing with content.

In the new version, we have introduced a drawer layout to help users obtain context in a "clear hierarchical background relationship," allowing users to switch more flexibly and freely between different mini-programs and applications as needed.

Compared to the old version, where users had to go back to the basic list of mini-programs and applications, struggling to find their destination and repeating the same steps four or five times, the new version allows users to easily "go where they want to go."

For those pending TODOs, we have also designed a new task center to carry them, allowing developers to check, view, and handle them at any time, avoiding omissions and errors.

More Powerful Features

Along with this version update, the core features include:

User and Role Management Mechanism

Remember the past when inviting members to collaborate and needing to configure separate user permissions for different users?

The newly designed user management system in FinClip Cloud not only provides an invitation mechanism for joining the team through a link but also implements the multi-tenant capability for the same user to join different teams and manage different mini-programs and applications.

Resource Group Management

Want to establish a more flexible "team" concept under the same organization, where different team members can see only the mini-programs and applications they can manage and operate according to permission configuration?

The resource group concept designed in FinClip Cloud can provide a significant improvement for this issue, allowing for more secure resource control by configuring the visibility of different mini-programs and applications according to one's own needs.

Audit Flow Management Configuration

In FinClip Cloud, the designed audit flow supports different organizations to configure co-signature, or signature, and process signature mechanisms according to management needs.

Organizational certification audit, mini-program audit, domain name management audit features are all configured with an audit flow, providing enterprise users with more user-friendly audit management measures.

Statistical Analysis Dashboard

In the newly designed statistical analysis center of FinClip Cloud, developers can quickly gain insights into the truth behind the data of mini-programs and host applications, rather than simply piling up statistical data as in the early versions.

The new version's data statistics function has more comprehensive dimensions, allowing developers to cross-compare the growth and behavior trajectory behind the numbers through different dimensions of mini-programs and applications.

Simple and Easy Account Integration

Through the pre-set SSO management system in FinClip Cloud, private customers can quickly achieve the connection and integration of FinClip with their own enterprise portals, internal IM tools, and external applications.

Whether it is the new user registration or login process, you can quickly enter the FinClip system with your preferred login method.

Comprehensive Log Recording

Administrators can view detailed operation history according to the operation module. Developers have left detailed operation records for the mini-program and application layer operations, which can better serve team supervision and compliance processes.

Of course, the new features and improvements in FinClip Cloud are not limited to these, and we sincerely look forward to your use of the new version of FinClip. Any issues encountered during use can be fed back to us.

How to Use FinClip Cloud

FinClip Cloud represents a significant leap forward in our product offerings. Before the official release, select customers were given early access to test the new features.

These users, hailing from diverse industries, have been using FinClip to build their mobile digital platforms, managing mini-programs and development resources across various scenarios. Their enthusiastic feedback has been instrumental in refining the product.

The FinClip Cloud version has completed most of its functional design and capability optimization as of June 2024 and is now available on en.finclip.com.
